Build things people actually run on.
We are a small team in Barbados building the systems Caribbean organisations depend on, and increasingly ones further afield. The work is real, the clients are named, and what you build stays in service.
What it is like to work here
You will own a platform somebody depends on, not a queue of unrelated jobs. The work is visible on the client's board while you do it.
Nobody here does one narrow thing. If you want to learn the half of the job you have not done before, that is a feature.
Most clients are in the region. Some are in the US and the UAE. The standard is the same for both.
Scopes, decisions and handovers are written. You will not have to reconstruct why something was built the way it was.
Open roles
Nothing is open at the moment. We would rather say so than leave an advert up for a role that closed. We hire in small bursts, usually when a platform outgrows the person looking after it, so it is worth writing anyway if you would be a fit.
Speculative applications are read by a person, not a filter. Tell us what you have built and what you want to build next. Send work rather than a CV if you have it, and a link is fine.
Tell us what you have built.
Put the role in the message if you are answering one, or describe the job you think we should be hiring for. Links to work, repositories or anything live count for more than a covering letter.
Prefer email? Write to support@tapp.media. Everything is read; you will get a reply either way.
